Sardine & Fennel toasted sarnies!

I've a glut of tinned sardines here - didn't know what to do with them. A quick butchers' online and, Voila!

Mashed sardines, cream cheese, capers, shallots, drop of tabasco, lemon juice, sliced fennel bulb, two rounds of buttered bread and whack 'em under the grill...
