For the education of Nick, Ray "the belly" is a permanent fixture. A retired man, he spends the day watching and gambling on the horses. Normally wins enough to pay for his ten pints of Young's per day.

I assume that as it is only the football that incurs a cost to the pub to show, that the horse racing will survive.

Some Ruskies turned up at about 10 last night. They got out of the mini coach that dropped them at reception and then proceded to throw empty bottles of Vodka on the ground, smashing them to smithereens. Cunch of bunts.
