Title: Damp patches
Post by: Miss Demeanour on February 18, 2012, 08:30:20 AM
So it would appear to my simple brain  that there is some water escaping outside the front of my house , coming from somewhere unknown , but definitely coming from below rather than above ( is that too many jokes APC  lol: ) .

Contacted Thames Water last night who after going through the schematics said they will send Sven within 3 working days to assess and spray things blue apparently  rubschin: and then any works that may or may not be required will be completed 15 working days after that rubschin:

Ok - so I have got some way to sorting out problem.

Thames Water have been and it is not them  noooo:

Got a man in and he has been here for the last hour and a half with his young apprentice sidekick.

They have to dig up outside the front as after ruling everything else out, taking apart my kitchen sink unit  eeek: , they have concluded the problem is from the inlet or waste pipe outside . As I said originally.

They are needing to return with a groundwork crew.

Meanwhile .....I think I have a new 'friend '  noooo: noooo: noooo:

Well he got his young boy to replace my a washer in my loo ( no charge) as he went to use it and I said about the flush is a little bit dodgy - it's on my list of things to do .

" Don't worry darling  - I'll sort it out for you no worries "  ::)

" I have many uses you know "  and so it went on  ::)

I'll play the game as long as it costs me nothing and I get things done  lol:
