How do they in charge decide which channels get a +1 and which don't...and if they don't have one why don't they ?

Channel 4 and 5 both have a +1 but not BBC 1 , 2 or ITV ( although you can still watch it all on iplayer/ catch up etc).

Most of  the Sky channels  have a +1 except Sky 1 ......why ?????

My difficulties arise when I have a number of things I want to record at the same time ....+1 channels on some of these would be really useful  :thumbsup:

They don't need +1 channels because every damned thing they show will be on ITV2 ITV3 and ITV4 or in the case of the Beeb on Dave (which they own) within a couple of weeks and then will be repeated ad nauseaum.

The driven by demand argument is bolliovks, the +1 et al channels are placefillers allowing the channels to make more money in afvertising while deciding what is going to replace them.

As for Cowell, wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire although I may spring for some marshmallows  eveilgrin:
