A mate of mine is heavily involved in teaching a WEA course on WW1. People in the class bring in memorabilia.

This week one chap brought in a werking Lee Enfield rifle  eeek:

Dunno why this was on the BBC news last night as it's 12 months ago now.

I visited some of the huge craters created by the mines in Belgium - If I remember correctly, two didn't go off and are still there to this day...
