London woman left disfigured by shocking random acid attack by mystery woman in niqab as she walked home from work at Victoria's Secret

A young woman has been left severely scarred and partially blind after acid was thrown in her face in a seeming random late-night attack.

Naomi Oni, 20, was on her way home from work to her home in Dagenham, East London, on 30 December when an anonymous attacker, wearing a niqab, threw the corrosive liquid at her, leaving her with serious burns on her head, neck, arms, legs and body.

Saw this on the tv news on Sunday, and nearly threw up, not at that poor girls disfigurement, but at the very thought that some evil scumbag could even think about doing that to another human.

God Almighty and Jesus Christ, what a thouroughly sick sick nasty world we have to live in and share with such uitter vile breath wastuing filth.

I saw this, and apart from thinking how awful it was I couldn't help but wonder
a) how do we know it was a woman &
b) how do we know 'she' was a muslim.
Those outfits only show the eyes, they are a perfect disguise. The police won't dare question any one wearing them in case they get accused of racism.

All very good points - you simply have no idea when they are wearing one of those things....  noooo:

I have to say, I'm not entirely comfortable with telling people what they should or should not wear...  noooo:

If there are valid reasons for uncovering (i.e. going into a bank) then the rule should apply to everyone - motorcyclists, 'hoodies' and Muslims...

This case does expose the futility of spending billions on CCTV cameras 'to cut crime'....  noooo:
