I wonder whether the ~$400k salary might slightly taint his so called charitable intentions in this new job

See official report (http://www.rescue.org/sites/default/files/resource-file/FY2011%20990.pdf) and look for George Rupp the previous CEO.  $395k salary and $50k in 'other compensation'

Really pisses me off that you see real charity workers and contributors give up so much and these heads of charities see it as great to get fat on their efforts
