Title: Cleaning me disks?
Post by: GROWLER on April 05, 2013, 07:24:32 PM
Just done a de-frag, and this advisory came up  confused: :

Clean Up Your Disks
Auslogics Disk Defrag found junk files on your computer. We recommend removing them prior to next defrag to ensure the most efficient file placement.
Download Auslogics BoostSpeed to clean and defrag your disks in a proper sequence:

It doesn't say so like, but I presume it's going to cost me?
Is it really necessary, or are they just hoping that i.t. nuggets like me will go "ooooo, will if they say so, I'd better do it"? Shrugs:

well I thought it was happy001

So just for Growler, iIt's this key

(https://www.virtual-pub.com/SMF/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaily-grind.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2010%2F08%2FWindows-Key-722215.jpg&hash=7a531e227df8ea59a8503ee3f99989e8f8e9ab49)

and you can find the Any key next to it so you will never be this again

(https://www.virtual-pub.com/SMF/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimghumour.com%2Fassets%2FUploads%2FPress-Any-Key.jpg&hash=22aadb8902d6212ba26c6e29ee0bbb71a6be9283).

Do it the old fashioned way.

Wonderful to behold as everything goes into a black hole.  8)
