Title: Smart TV
Post by: tel on April 11, 2013, 02:16:53 PM
So new TV arrived yesterday, very nice, very light in weight.

Then found that ethernet connection on the Virgin box is disabled - first idea was to get the wireless dongle that comes as extra with the TV. However was out and about to get a network socket for werk and ended up buying a pair of TP-link powerline adapters and a Logitech wireless keyboard. Got home, plugged everything in and hey presto, it all werks!  cloud9:

Internet connection good over the powerline (500 Mb) and keyboard was recognised by the TV straight away - Mrs Tel may now decide to use the interweb for the first time.
