One here for Darwin as head of turnips (or anyone else who knows the answer)
First, I like turnips - and, no, I am not Swedish.
However, I can't help but notice that they seem to come in two varieties, best described as:
"Red Top" and "Green Top"
Is there any difference? Is one to be preferred over the other?
Enquiring minds wish to know!

Red (often called purple) top are mainly used for animal feed and keep fairly well out of the ground.
Green top is sweeter with a more yellow flesh and generally used for human consumption, particularly as the 'neep' in 'neeps and tatties' served with haggis.
Thank you for your order via Amazon, they should be with you shortly.
