I don't like Direct Debits. They give thieving bastard companies direct access to my bank account  cussing:

With lecky and gas though I have no choice  cussing:

Spurred on by reports of British Gas trousering over payments I went online yesterday to check my bill evil:

The bastards at E ON are whipping money out of my account to such an extent that my account is nearly £1000 in credit  cussing: cussing: cussing: cussing:

I called and told them I wanted it back WITH INTEREST  Angry9:

They declined  cussing:

This is hte same bastard company that refused to supply me with a new boiler on the grounds that I was too poor  cussing:  I am not surpised you bastards. YOU HAVE PINCHED ALL MY MONEY  Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead

Change to standing order then you control how much they get and top it up if they whinge.

Send them a bill for your money, with 30 days to pay. Could include an administration charge as weel, if you like.

If they do not pay, go legal.

Anyway, if you can't get more than the discount in interest on the overcharge, you deserve to be ripped off.

Yes they do. Set up an online account, go to 'pay bills' select 'make regular payments' and set up SO with the details.

Don't forget to cancel the DD and let the overpayments run out first....
