I'm sick and bloody tired of the use of words like 'battleground' in relation to the general election...

...in truth, I'm prolly sick and bloody tired of the general election campaign which seems to me to have been going on since the last one ended...

But really, every report is about the fight, the battle, the battleground - fuck off already!

It is an election campaign, people are putting leaflets through letterboxes, making speeches (full of lies) and driving around in pink minivans...

...it is some way away from the slaughter of a battlefield....
