Title: Music for Funerals
Post by: Steve on December 12, 2017, 08:22:37 PM
Have we done this before?

Have to say today's was a top mix for a crematorium

Imagine (Lennon)
Heard it through the grapevine (Marvin Gaye)
Jean Genie (Bowie)
Always on my mind (Pet Shop Boys)
True Faith (New Order)

Unfortunately they also snuck in 'Blue is the colour' seeing as how the deceased was a staunch Chelsea supporter

Back when I was a kid one of my brothers was in to heavy metal and had a spoof thrash metal album which included the song 'Welcome to the Church of the Apocalyptic Lawnmower' There is a twisted part of me that half considers that just to confuse the hell out of the mourners....  eveilgrin:
