Bought some frozen fruit yesterday and made smoothies today - beautifully tasty and refreshing (Miss A's idea I must confess)... cloud9:
... there is good reason that they have that --Max-- line on the blender tho... redface:

I've occasionally wondered if adding serious booze like Jack Daniels to smoothies is a good idea. But I'm not buying a blender to find out

You could adapt other devices  Like a Dyson rubschin:

It's a bit contaminated with sucked up bogies, cat fur and even worse things you find in carpets
We do have a multi complecated food processor that has a blender attachment but is it worth the faff?

You could use the Dyson to make smoothies for unwanted guests

It depends on what fruit you are using as you need to balance the taste out. Southern Comfort or either the honey or cinnamon JD's would probably be easier but if you are set on using regular Jack Daniels you could always give this a try...
1 blender.
4 oz. Jack Daniel's Whiskey.
1 ripe banana.
1 cup chocolate chip vanilla ice cream.
½ cup vanilla yogurt.
Or if you prefer strawberries...
3/4 cup (6 ounces) Simple Strawberry Sauce
2-4 ounces whiskey (depends on how much kick you want)
stevia or simple syrup to taste
2 cups (8 ounces) ice
a few fresh strawberries for garnish

Or just chuck a load of random stuff in the blender and add some booze...? ::)
-
Or save time and fruit and just drink the booze ::)

I'm beginning to see why you have almost as many disasters as Nick. I thought it was just a family trait. rubschin:
