The numbers unfortunately show that they are not heading in the desired direction. They seem to be up.
According to what Christos Charalambous said Wednesday night, more stringent measures are being considered as the message "we are staying home" does not seem to be universally accepted.
Tomorrow at the Extraordinary Council of Heads, in the presence of all five Ministers (Foreign, Health, Labor, Justice and Finance) the data will be developed and green light will be called for stricter measures.
In short, this means that measures may be taken tomorrow, including a ban. "You will not be allowed to move", it was pointed out.
The President will discuss this measure with the Party leaders. According to the editor-in-chief of SIGMA, it is clear that if one looks at the streets in recent days, we do not appear to have the same image as other European countries that have taken similar measures to stop the virus.

There are 5,814,099 currently known sick that may recover or may die but can't be used to get a 4% figure. The big unknown is how many have or have had it and never registered on the stats. Actually forget using PHE, outsource the entire contact tracing and tracking project to a call centre. The PCR test for Covid currently in use works by analysing genetic data to look for a match but according to a paper released by the Lancet up to 15% of instances of the common cold are caused by members of the coronavirus family so given that we are in the cold season now I can't help but wonder what the false positive rate is.So?

We entered lockdown on March 24th. Looking at detected case data is no indicator as we were then woefully unable to field enough tests. But we can look at patient admissions to hospital for Covid and deaths from Covid that might be expected to lag 2 and 3 weeks behind measures.
And what do we find
Patient admissions peaked on April 7th (2 weeks to the day after) with a 7 day rolling average of 3,115 per day
Deaths peaked on April 13th (nigh on that very 3 weeks) with a 7 day rolling average of 942 per day
A month later the death rate had more than halved and patient admissions even more reduced. However if we hadn't had those lockdown benefits the prospects were the quadrupling and doubling per week per week of deaths and patients in hospital would have had us at hundreds of thousands of both daily deaths and in hospital patients by that month after. The NHS only has 150,000 beds (https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/publications/nhs-hospital-bed-numbers#:~:text=The%20total%20number%20of%20NHS,patients%20treated%20has%20increased%20significantly.) and not too many true ICU beds (https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-kingdom?view=resource-use&tab=trend&resource=icu_beds) We'd have been well fucked

Something that really pisses me off

As for Farage's video the pub sold a pint when they shouldn't, even he isn't disputing that. It's more obvious than an obvious thing that the test visit was likely because the pub had a reputation for same. And test visits like that are like when they use 15 year olds to try to buy knives and fags.
