Looks like the insurance company will have to request the records direct rom quack with a copy o the Greek death certificate

We also realised her car (keys in Crete) is parked somewhere at Brummagem Airport Banghead Banghead Banghead

Can her son not take his birth certificate  / passport to the doc to verify ID ?

Who applies for the Death certificate in Greece  - can her son do that from here or will he struggle with all the red tape too.

He must be in bits himself - let alone having to deal with the bureaucracy of it all  noooo:

Birth certificate might link him to her but only under one of her previous names. Dunno about the Death Certificate.

But I bet someone has at some time conned an insurance company and/or doctor before.  And it's not exactly the cost of a single EasyJet fare to get a body back internationally.  More like £5k IIRC so they have to check.

Bumped into an old school friend of Pink Sis who bought me a coffee and wanted to gossip

She disclosed that Pink Sis was in Crete on a "Singles" holiday  eeek: rubschin:

Apparently the granddaughter swung it by saying she would not like being alone in a coffin in an aeroplane hold  Shrugs:

And yes, the coffin was brought in to the sound of "Ding Dong, the witch is dead"

On arrival everyone was given one of these to wear
