My Canon SX50 (now 10 years old) is the limit of my understanding and takes v good pics. it can do all sorts of clever things but (a) rarely gets used nowadays due to quality of phone camera and (b) even more rarely gets taken off automatic.
An SLR would blow my tiny mind for a couple of days and then spend the rest of its days in a dark cupboard

True, I just dug out my old Olympus OM101 I used in the 90s. The case is covered in dust but the camera is still pristine. Doubt it's seen the light since digital came in.
