Title: Some fine signs
Post by: Pastis on October 08, 2007, 02:13:32 PM
Noticed this (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/core/Slideshow/slideshowContentFrameFragXL.jhtml;jsessionid5IA5HA2TS1FTJQFIQMGSFF4AVCBQWIV0?xml=/travel/slideshow/signs/pixsigns.xml&site=) at lunchtime:

Also, that Michael Palin was in the town of Mad last night on his travels  ;)

Love the signs ~ missed Palin watching the Scots being whupped, which is always a joy and I can catch up with Palin on Bravo or some such in a few days time.

D'you know how I can drop Palin an email?

Last year I went through the town of Palin in Guatemala and wondered if he was aware of its existence  ;D

You could do worse than start at his website and work from there.

His publishers or the BBC will no doubt pass on any letters ~ I've tried looking for any other web sites but the only other one he is associated with is for the Stammerers Association (which I think he founded in memory of his father) and they don't have a "contact M Palin" box either

lol: lol: I knew somebody would have to ~ but actually he (M Palin) is very passionate about it. Seems a worthy cause that he doesn't shout about but puts a lot of money into.

Good call. I've actually done that a couple of times with publishers and it's worked. I just thought an email might be more expedient.

Might register on his site later if I can be @rsed
