Title: Bollox. What have i done?
Post by: GROWLER on November 01, 2007, 12:19:04 AM
Turned this heap of pure and uladulterated shite on 2 hours ago and it wouldn't connect.
Been rummaging around in the ao hell 'one click fixes' as they call them, and have somehow managed to get back on line, more by luck than anything else.
I've pressed just about everything, god knows what, there were loads of them, but now all my website favourites ...even google, have disappeared. eeek:
Couldn't even remember the web address for this dump, ;)  but managed to find it AFTER i'd found google.

What therefore have i done, and HTF do I restore everything back to normal?

Yes sadly, as i've found out over the last 4 years. ::)

Trouble is, when I first got this junk, I didn't even know what an internet provider was, let alone the differences between the good the bad and the ugly. ::)
I was advised that ao hell were really good, but their again, we're all entitled to our opinions I suppose. confused:
Changing will be very traumatic i've been advised.
ao hell do not let you escape easily apparently, so i've simply not bothered. scared2:

I’m sure he is using XP so the google pin is somewhat irrelevant… good suggestion about resetting (or perhaps changing?) the flux capacitor tho…

It was known as the 'Interositer Condenser' not flux capacitor when I was in college.

Mind you, mains electricity was still a novelty then.
