Title: Outlaw
Post by: Barman on November 11, 2007, 05:48:09 AM
I bought this cheap when I was over in the UK last and watched it last night…

What an excellent movie!

If you are after a gutsy, action-packed thriller with frequent foul language (they call Tony Blair a c**t) then this is for you.

Stars Sean Bean and Bob Hoskins and is directed by Nick Love.

Basically, a revenge/vigilante movie – Sean Bean's character is a para returning from Iraq and is disgusted by the state of Blair’s Britain which he sees as being totally out of control. Aided by Hoskins who is a long-serving policeman and shares his views they try and clean up.

Excellent line from Hoskins – “Most policemen can’t lay straight in bed”.  ;D

Great use of hand-held cameras that give you the feeling of actually being there in the action – Mrs. Barman spent most of the film with her hands over her eyes.

Highly recommended (not you Wenchy).
