Today's planned expedition required advance planning and good weather. ON Friday BBC weather predicted torrential rain. On Saturday it also predicted torrential rain.
I am presently looking out of the window at a blue sky, having cancelled said expedition.
I fully expecvt BBC weatehr to "amend" its forecast later once they have dragged themseslves away from their radar screens and LOOKED OUT OF THE WINDOW Angry9:

Just muttered that very thought to myself tbh.
Lashings of rain forecast apparently.
I suspect it may just be running a bit late however, and fully expect it to arrive once I've decided to come down to the swamp.

Oh, are you still getting on with that? I have errands to run later on. May drop in

More pointless (and piss boiling) is the traffic news on the TV in the morning? cussing:
What IS the point of being told that there is a hold-up in Kensington High Street (or whatever).? If you are watching the telly it is likely to have changed by the time you get in your car and drive there. If you are actually in you car in the area you are unlikely to be watching the telly are you? ::)
I wonder how many hold-ups are caused by people being told that the ?M4 is closed because of an accident? while they are eating their Rice Crispies, taking an alternative route to work and discovering when they get there that is was cleared four hours earlier? point:

No. Not really. Just going down there to hide 'THE BEAST' inside the refrigeration container in readiness for selling. ;)

I don't suppose it crossed your mind that they did look out of the window. It just happened that they weren't based five minutes down the road from you. noooo:
