So the numpty who used to be transport minister knew about the DVLA data loss but failed to mention it to anyone when he was replaced because he thought someone was bound to mention it to Kelly.
Asked why the public was only told on Monday, he said: "I assumed the new minister would've been told about it.
"It doesn't look like a cover up to me - it looks like one of those things."

I heard the interview – he did actually seem to believe it was ‘just one of those things’ that the data had been lost and was impressed that the company had mentioned it… ::)
