As I said:

Quote
White vans

There's been an increase of white vans in the road I live on and they always seem to be badly parked. The neighbour across the road has acquired a BIG white van which he often parks close to my drive causing me problems in seeing if anything is coming up the road when I pull out. There's no room on his side of the road as he already has two ice-cream vans and a car.

Then there's the neighbour two doors down. His white van is a bugger to start and he has to keep turning the engine over until it fires up. Then he revs it until he's confident enough that it wont stall.

And they always tailgate you. Even on the motorway (how do they get them up to that speed?)

They slipstream the car in front which is why they tailgate you, also explaining the speed.

Agreed, I think you have to pass a c**tship examination to be allowed behind the wheel of a vin blanc. I had one of these pricks nearly cause a head on collision overtaking me in a 30 zone. Also exempt from the laws on mobile phone use, apparently.

In my case it was silver, but they all fall under the same monicker.

I suspect the majority of vans sold are white, easier to transfer/paint your shitty roofiing company's name on.

The white van is produced as a "blank canvas" that the buyer will add colour and company logos to. I guess keeping it white keeps the purchase cost down.

If she has a printer needing ink then it follows she has a PC. Why not order the ink cartridge on line and have it delivered by post the next day? Bloody woman needs her licence revoked and no messing with excuses.

Arrested for doing less than 10mph on a British Motorway? Isn't that the norm?

What? Being arrested, or doing 10mph?

If the latter, then for many of our motorways, that could almost be seen as speeding! (M25 - or outer London CarPark springs to mind)
