The utter bastard. At least he gets his mortgage paid now. How can they accord this man any credibility?

It ain't what you know but who you know.
He still has the ability to pick up the phone, call any country's leader and get through to the main man/woman.
That's what they are paying him for.

"I spoke to George earlier. He said we should bomb Iran, or let the Israelis do it for us and then deny knowledge"

Actually looking at Tony's track record for being able to run things and see trends JP Morgan could be on to a winner. All they have to do is the exact opposite of anything he suggests and they cant lose.

Just checking but did I hear correctly that this institution just happens to be one of those who made a huge profit out of the Iraq war?

Well it doesn't sound like the Blair's are going to be short of a bob or two.
In the money (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7180846.stm)
The BBC has learned that the bank is paying Mr Blair $5m (£2.5m) a year for his advice
And
He is a sought-after speaker and can earn up to £200,000 for a speech. This month, he embarks on a particularly lucrative tour of the United States and Canada.
Part of me says if you can get it then go for it. After all he is not doing anything illegal (I assume). Morally I find it difficult to accept.
