He still has the ability to pick up the phone, call any country's leader and get through to the main man/woman.
That's what they are paying him for.

Actually looking at Tony's track record for being able to run things and see trends JP Morgan could be on to a winner. All they have to do is the exact opposite of anything he suggests and they cant lose.
