Anywho, you still haven't explained, O Techno-god why I cant see ads at home on my XP laptop but can on Vista laptop and XP desktop.

Ok, do yuo have the same version of XP on the laptop as you do on the desktop and is it hotfixed/Service Packed up to the same level?

If they are then its probably firewall settings.

Prolly is. XP work laptop runs Kaspersky anti hacker etc.

I could suggest deactivating your firewall but that would invite calamity on the scale of Nick wandering around a firework factory with only a lighter to illuminate the way...  noooo:
