New Burghaus Gor Tex walking boots purchased last week.

OK. That's not bad ey...imo., considering sweaty mangy feet have been in them for a month.

2 weeks ago, purchased a pair of reading specs from Boots, cus the lense fell out of my old specs and smashed all over the path. cussing:

Found they were too strong, giving me headaches and making me dizzy. confused:
Took them back yesterday to swap them for another pair a bit less magnifying, and the gets wouldn't swap them. Banghead

"personal hygiene' was the excuse used.

You bloody WHAT?!
I know I talk out of me arse...sometimes, but I don't LOOK out of it you useless thieving munters. cussing:

Were they prescription lenses or simply "over the counter" magnifying glasses?

If the former then you have a right to complain .... with the other sort it is pretty much up to the store, tho' compared to the wellies I see your point

Think I should get meself steamed up into a lather, and go back and demand to see the glasses gaffer.

WTF they think I've got on me face and ears FFS?

Feel sort of pissed after using them for more than 5 minutes, so not all bad then i suppose?

Most of the staff in your average Boots are part-time wimmin. Pick another time of day, make sure it's a different woman and try again if I were you .... then try the manager.
