They charge these days and want to inspect your home, interview you etc .... It's like adopting a child.

Once upon a time it was a simple "I'll take that one" and you gave them a fiver as a "donation" and they were grateful. Not no more noooo:

My dogs are from Dogs Trust (NCDL as it was then), £110 for my last one IIRC
