Title: Chicken Ceasar Salad - A quick question
Post by: Grumpmeister on April 30, 2008, 03:42:01 PM
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this but its been a while since I've had one of these. Half a neon orange chicken is not normal for one of these is it, the half chicken that was on my plate was the same colour as David Dickinson.  eeek:

Its the office canteen again so I really dont know why I'm asking this?  noooo:

Dont spend that much time in there, just enough to decide if I'm going to take my life in my hands and order food from there when I'm at work.

I had figured that with the gas still off that they couldnt bugger anything up....

...I was sorely mistaken. Judging from the aftertaste and the lack of them outside I think seagull may have made it on to the menu.....  eeek:

Wrong colour for smoked, the skin was neon orange. I did wonder it it had been left over from the tikka the other day.  noooo:

This is where I used to lunch in the days of gainful employment

OR
http://fancyapint.com/pubs/pub310.html

Both highly recommended if you find yourself in the Holborn area at Lunch Time

Unfortunately its a bit far from Cornwall to lunch in  whistle:

I think I'll start doing my own food again and see if I can show them up. Tequila and chilli marinated chicken is getting tempting.

I'm sorry to say but Cornwall, like North Wales, is for holidays not work.
Both are wonderful places to holiday and even live but employment has to be where the money is.

I know, I can earn half as much again doing what I do if I move to the midlands plus I'd have a better chance of getting on to the property ladder. (Or if I can convince the management to let me log in remotely I can afford a luxury spanish villa at Polaris World). But prices down here mean I couldnt even afford a shed.

Summat like this ~ residential restrictions because it is classed as a holiday home but usually you can occupy for 46 or 48 weeks in the year and it's under £40k.
The rest of the time you can go on holiday. whistle:

Your sympathy is appreciated.

I have relatives down in Cornwall which, regrettably is why, if I ever went there, it would have to incognito  noooo:

I bought Mrs S#2's engagement ring a couple of doors up from that pub. We went in there afterward, had a couple of beers and thence onto a very nice pasta place for an early supper.
After that ...... well you can work that bit out eyes:
