Still, at least the shops are open there.

Bank holidays here everything is closed. See also Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.

Can I say yes to all the options except the top one? It's because of all the other options that means that there is nothing glorious about them

And I agree about the Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday opening. There's something quaintly British about traditional butchers being closed during these periods

I thought I'd change a basin tap in the bathroom. Simple, 6 stage process according to online plumber and B & Queue.

I've been at stage 3 for the last two hours  evil:

I have given up and made a spicey spring lamb casseroley sort of thing... for later.

The thing about the tap was that it wasn't leaking; just slowed down to a meagre dribble - unlike the bath which is Niagra Falls in comparison  confused:
