I saw this on the telly this morning ? quite remarkable really.
I think it clearly shows that scameras are for revenue generation and not to reduce speed and accidents or such events would surely be taken more seriously? point:

It's not about whether cameras are for revenue collection but about abusing a position of authority. If anything police speeding (if not showing a flashing blue light) should be treated more harshly than Joe public as the police should be setting an example to the rest of us.

Dunno ~ but I do know that one of those in North Wales was issued to a very senior officer by a traffic PC who refused to allow it to be withdrawn (or at least so my local bobby told me)
