Landlady: What are we going to eat tonight… I’ve got chicken out of the freezer.
Barman: Make a salad, I’ll butterfly the chicken ( whistle:), make a honey-mustard marinade and cook it on the BBQ
LL: (rummaging through fridge) how old is this mustard?
B: Expires 07/07 – in the bin
LL: How about this one?
B: December 07 – in the bin
LL: What can we do then?
B: Use the Dijon that I put on my sandwiches… 12/08  ::)
LL: (Makes marinade)
B: (fires up BBQ)
LL: I’ve cut the chicken into goujons
B: They’ll fall through the wires on the bloody BBQ!  Banghead

So pleased to hear it's not all feckin' roses in Cyprus  ;)
