I couldnt help but chuckle when I read this, which helps make up for the mass smitage I'm sure to get when the obvious flood of comments starts.  whistle:

The 52-year-old drove her Volkswagen Beetle across the pavement in central Duesseldorf and into the entrance where it ground to a halt about five steps down, police said.

Police estimated the damage at around 1,500 euros (1,000 pounds).

You realise it's the second time it's happened to that subway entrance.  eeek:

Mayb they should put a big neon subway sign over the entrance.....then again it would probably happen a third time when some dozy pillock thinks its a drive through for the sandwich shop.
