Title: Schools have to pay pupils to stay on
Post by: Snoopy on September 02, 2008, 03:29:11 PM
The much vaunted Government payment to students who stay on past the minimum leaving age in an attempt to gain better qualifications is in utter chaos, because the government contracted payments out to a private company yet again, Colleges are having to fund the payments out of their own resources whilst the private contractor tries to sort it out. Typical! Do they learn nothing from their previous mistakes?
I can think of no single body (Farmers, Students, Parents, Local Councils, etc etc) who have ever got their money on time out of this shower.
Why will ministers not accept that IT is NOT the answer because it is intrinsically flawed at the point where people have to feed in the information in oprder to get the answers out. Put Sh*t in, Get Sh*t out.  Banghead

Can't get rid of it love ~ it's the only thing that keeps the unemployment figures down.
