Well I was too young first time around! My Brother was born round about the time it was being shown and family lore states that my Dad held him up to the full moon and Kunta Kinted him. Brother Wench bought the whole thing on dvd for about a fiver.

Stunning, excellent and hardly dated at all.

30 years  eeek:  Where did life go?  The Kunta Kinté was quite a catch phrase at the time. You could hold anything up and say the words... Kunta Biró ... Kunta Bananá ...
