Following my, ahem... unfortunate incident with my PC last week I have been doing a bit of research on the Interweb to get it all back together like... whistle:
In doing so, I've come across a couple of useful sites...
The How To Geek (http://www.howtogeek.com/) has loads of useful information on Windows, Office and Linux like how to get Firefox to present porn pictures in full size.
The Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (http://www.ubcd4win.com/) is an amazing utility that builds a boot disc from your XP source files but adds loads of useful utilities for recovering data, backups, drive images, etc. to give you a helping hand when it all goes tits-up.

Bought it on tick and will pay it off when redundo comes through. Had to get one really as work took theirs back the selfish bastids. angry041:
Its bloody fast and Vi$ta is behaving itself nicely. It seems also that VirginMedia have added a few thousand laggy bands as well and this machine really takes advantage of it.
On the subject of CD's I was given found in the street a DVD that contains all versions of Vi$ta. I'm told by the I.T fairy's that it identifies the motherboard and installs itself as a legal OEM version. Obviously I have handed it into the police station so I avoid the temptation to make copies for anyone who asks.. whacky115
