I also noticed this. Grim. Or darkly comic. (Not the show I'm going to by the way)

I started my first business on June 1st 1990... There are great opportunities in times of hardship if you are willing to grab them... ;)

However, I was more thinking of the market speculators that got us into this mess in the first place... cussing:
