Where do all these billions come from? Shrugs:
I know the taxpayer ultimately foots the bill but how can they rustle up twelve billion here a few billion there for Northern Rock, etc. yet have to borrow £2.7B to sort out the 10% tax fiasco...
This latest thing is just completely undemocratic - who voted for having all their communications monitored, eh, eh? cussing:

There is no doubt they will screwit up, so it will cost £24 billion and still not work

Thats true, and we have nothing to hide. We are extremely vocal in our oppinions of the total and utter incompetence and arrogance of this government. ;D

I already know how to scupper this system anyway. Seeing as we won't be able to stop them from implementing it all we have to do is wait a little while once its up and 'running' and then send an official data request to the government. Given that they couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery I can see the system being scrapped due to the fines issues by the information commisioner and news coverage when it appears that Brown & co aren't providing the requested information.
