Granted we've seen enough cases in the past to suggest that the US military has slight issues when it comes to accuracy but given the tensions between Tehran and Washington this seems just a little suspect.
If it was truely inintentional why the comment about trying to fly below the radar floor?
A US warplane has been forced to land in Iran after violating Iranian territory, the Iranian semi-official Fars news agency has reported.
It said the Falcon aircraft entered Iranian airspace from Turkey, flying at low altitude to avoid radar.
The report said the group was interrogated and allowed to leave, without saying when the incident happened.
The agency said the plane was detected by Iranian fighter jets, which forced it to land at an undisclosed airport.
Passengers included five senior American generals and three civilians, the report said.
The agency said the group was interrogated at the airport and then allowed to leave after it was realised they had entered unintentionally.
More details to follow.

curiouser and curiouser, because hungarians accents sound so much like americans.
TEHRAN (Reuters) - An Iranian state television station on Tuesday said a plane that was forced to land in Iran was Hungarian, not a U.S. military plane as reported earlier by a semi-official Iranian news agency.
Iran's Arabic-language al-Alam satellite station, citing a military source, also said there had been no U.S. military officials on board, as it had earlier reported.
