Seeing as Wenchy is bound to be heartbroken over news that her David is quitting as the Doctor, any suggestions on a replacement?

I KNOW! I think that is what has me most cross about the whole thing. They are running through regenerations like there is an infinite amount of them!

I have a sneaky feeling that they've already set the groundwork to solve that though, Donna. And no I don't mean the physio although that could lead to an interesting series...
"We have to stop this CyberDalek death ray from destriying the earth. Quickly Nick, plug this microwave emitter into the power supply over there, now insert this teatowel...."

Good point I hadn't thought of that. My current theory is that because Gallifrey has been destroyed he will take on the regenerations of all and as such he can go on forever and ever.

I can't see the BBC just giving up on a series that has been immensely popular since it started just because someone was daft enough to write in a limit to the amount of Doctors there could be, after all, the spinoffs havent had the same degree of success.

If you were a bloke, such a comment would earn you the mantle of a very sad geek. noooo:

No the cloak of invisibility and the vortex of turning time back.

In other news, I see David Tennant, the leftie Timelord, plans to leave Dr. Who. Geeks will recall that in Tom Baker's day, the twelfth and final incarnation of the Doctor was the Castelan, whose sole aim was to steal the previous Doctor's incarnations so he wouldn't die. We geeks remember these things, you know.
I think I should be the next Doctor. Think of the money they'd save. Daleks turn up, I get in Tardis and piss off quick. Those episodes would be ten minutes each, tops. My assistant wouldn't need wardrobe, either.

The geeks who read the scriptures of Dr Who will probably discover that the 12 incarnations are in Hexadecimal notation.
