The man was in no shape to drive and knew it so he wisely left his car parked at the office and started to walk home.
As he was walking unsteadily along, one foot in the gutter for steerage, he was stopped by a policeman.
"And just what are you doing out here at 2am?" asked the officer.
"I'm going to a lecture." the man said.
"Oh yeah" sneered the cop "and who is going to give a lecture at this hour?"
"My wife." said the man.
