The Liverpool captain was charged with two other men who had also been arrested after a 'disturbance' outside a late-night bar in Southport, Merseyside in the early hours of yesterday." The alleged victim was the club's 34-year-old DJ Marcus McGee. He apparently refused to change the music when Gerrard asked him to.
"Remain humble, keep our feet on the ground and keep working hard"
Gerrard's words as he left St James' Park on Sunday afternoon after scoring twice in Liverpool's 5–1 destruction of Newcastle United.

....OR ME!!! cussing:
True what you said Snoops. Let the courts decide and then we...including me even though I'm and ardent LFC supporter....can rip into him IF he's found guilty.
If he is, he should be sacked by LFC and never play for Ingeeerland again either. Too amy hot headed Joey Bartons around already.
IF he's guilty, he should do porridge for it. No doubt in my mind at all.
Whatever the ouitcome, he's in for a very rough ride now wherever he goes.
I just hope it doesn't affect things on the pitch now, or his head will surely roll.
