Title: Mrs Nick books some tickets for indoor explosive event
Post by: Nick on February 07, 2009, 03:05:41 PM
It's for a concert. In March. I note from the details that:

Quote
The evening will culminate in a spectacular finale of the 1812 Overture with thundering cannons, muskets and explosive indoor fireworks
  scared2:

It's in a fooking theatre FFS.

So can they do cannons and fireworks indoors? (without damage I mean, obviously)  ::)

Yes ~ seen and heard it done ~ but the smoke does tend to drift about a bit making it a place to leave as soon afterwards as possible.

Have you never watched the Royal Tournament? Thunderflashes and dummy ammo being let off all over the arena.

Well spotted Snoops! I knew there must be a flaw in the plan but your Poirot skills found it.

The Boy will wonder from then on why every crescendo in life isn't accompanied by pyrotechnics  ;D

His visit to the Kennel ended with much blood, several broken toes and a visit to A&E.

NOT his fault but a result of small boys being left to amuse themselves for a little too long. Anyway The Boy escaped unscathed ~ he seemed to accept it as all perfectly normal.
