TBH this does not make me feel a whole lot better disposed toward them

The former bosses of the two biggest UK casualties of the banking crisis have apologised "profoundly and unreservedly" for their banks' failure.
Former Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive Sir Fred Goodwin told MPs on the Treasury Committee he "could not be more sorry" for what had happened.
The former bank chiefs also said the bonus culture had contributed to the crisis and needed to be reviewed.
But Sir Fred said if bankers felt they were not paid enough, they would leave.
Sir Tom McKillop, former RBS chairman, also admitted that his bank's much-criticised purchase of Dutch rival ABN Amro had been a "big mistake".
And this just makes it worse

I saw the tape of this bunch being interviewed on Newsnight lat night. It was almost macabre. I'd just come back from a local meeting where, amongst other things being discussed were everyday things like the cost of parking, dogs fouling the pavement, improvements to our local amenities, ASB etc... real, down to earth practicalities.
And then, to see this bunch of apparently unqualified sharks shedding crocodile tears... I almost wanted to hear the sound of the tumbrils rolling evil:
-
Broon is on BBC News 24 being "grilled" over this. It all seems very cordial. evil:
-
Brown picked a former HBOS head to run the FSA, an organisation that then showed it couldnt find its own arse with a hunting dog and a oiija board much less the approaching time bomb of the banking crisis. Cordial? They should be hauling his useless hide over hot coals!! Banghead
-
I saw my useless lobby fodder MP was on the 'grilling committee' They let him off cussing:
-
Bless 'em all ey. Took courage to apologise. We can all sit back and relax now they've said sorry, little loves. cloud9:
