Title: Sending texts to landlines
Post by: Miss Demeanour on May 31, 2009, 03:35:36 PM: Apart from the comedy element of having some robotic male or female voice repeat certain expressions or text speak is this function ever used for anything useful Shrugs:

The Brat and her friends often send illiterate texts to the landline just to p1ss themselves laughing at how it sounds evil: and I often get stupid bloody text messages from some companies offering this that or the other....but quite honestly if I could find a way of just receiving telephone calls on my telephone I would be more then happy noooo:

Post by: Snoopy on May 31, 2009, 03:47:07 PM: I always hang up immediately. Some of these "Text Phone Messages" can, I am told, cost you a lot as they charge the call out to the recipient.
Maybe someone here will know more about this but in the meantime I will keep hanging up.
