The plane is now 5 hours late. It would not have enough fuel to fly for a further 5 hours, even if the pilot did decide to take the passengers on a magical mystery tour. And wrap the plane in an radar invisibility cloak.

A Scotchman with a beard who is an "expert" has just been on saying the secret to the disaster lies at the bottom of the Atlantic. I would suggest that he seems fairly sure of the situation, why can't the BBC?

I've just seen some absolutely abominable footage of some of the relatives having to get help from airport security staff to get through the press vultures.

For fuck's sake, what do you think you are going to get out of these poor bastards? The lost treasure of the Sierra Madre? The unified theory?

Yes, it is news but you could at least try to have compassion for these people and not shove mikes in their faces for a fucking soundbite!

No longer missing ...

Brazilian search crews have found bodies and debris from the Air France flight that crashed into the Atlantic, an air force spokesman has said.  "This morning at 8:14am, we confirmed the rescue from the water of pieces and bodies that belonged to the Air France flight."
