Post by: The Moan Ranger on June 07, 2009, 11:51:02 AM
A woman's body has been found in a wheelie bin in Cobham. Police are treating it as "suspicious" - how wonderful our police are  cussing:

You'd think the binmen would have looked inside to see why it was so heavy.

Are the weelies bigger in Surrey? I only ask because even Hazel Blears wouldn't fit in ours.

How can a wheelie bin be too heavy?  rubschin:

It has wheels on it - hence the name. They don't have to pick it up or anything, just drag it to the truck.

Binmen aren't what they used to be...  noooo:

Bin lids should be fully closed in order to avoid the spillage of refuse, injury to operatives / members of the public and damage to the bin during emptying or by strong winds.....may not be able to collect your refuse if the bin too heavy.

As her foot was apparently sticking out this represented a clear breach of such conditions as well as being too heavy  whistle:

They was just doing their job guv  whistle: whistle: whistle:

Her unemployed chef husband, who is a German national, was charged with her murder between August 1 2006 and June 6 2009, and with preventing the lawful and decent burial of her body between the same dates.

That should just about cover it don't you think  ::)

Her family said: "We were informed that Melanie had passed away from natural causes in September 2006.

Did they not attend a funeral or go and visit her widow - her 'family'  like  noooo:
