I noticed today how many - percentage wise - cars are silver. And not just the rozzers. Why have we, as a nation, become so bland? Yes, I know silver is nice and hides the worst of the road muck more effectively, but it's a bit odd being stuck in a line of cars where one in four is the same coloured. Let's have some more variety, please.
My first Dolly Sprint was "Vermillion red" which to me was a nasty orangy colour. My current Dolly is BRG - we need more of these than the anodyne safe silver.
IMO

I swear that if I bought a purple Fiat Uno with yellow spots on it I would see another before I had travelled 100 miles. It happens all the time. My new car is a "Champagne Gold" Freeranger and I passed five others of similar colour and vintage on the drive of 84 miles from dealer to home~ first person in the village to see it said "Oh a silver one then" Banghead

It's also a lot more difficult to see against a wet road, or in the rain.

Apparently Green is the colour vehicle most likely to be involved in an accident ~ followed by that dark gold colour commonly known as Jewish Racing Beige
