Maybe so but she still had a point and made it. The questioner clearly has a third world attitude to a "woman's place" and needed slapping down. I loved the look on HC's face ~ she simply could not believe anyone would dare ask such a question.

It may not necessarily be about her being a woman though - could be that this person still holds huge regard for her husband when he was President and respects his views. Not that he is discounting hers....

And the fact that this is being done by a 3rd party ( the translator) may also mean that they put their own inflection on things
