Yesterday I purchased two nonstick loaf tins, despite soaking them overnight I cannot get the bleddy labels off. Banghead

Take them back and exchange them for silicone ones

Miss D you are a genius. cloud9: I already have two silicone muffin things, as I wanted to cut the cakes up into individual cakes.... I know I should have thought of it myself but my brain isn't working. surrender:

I have to do this from time to time (for very different reasons ;)); which is why I always have a can of lighter fuel and/or nail polish remover handy. In this instance I reckon the lighter fuel route should work to release the adhesive.

I have to do this from time to time (for very different reasons ;)); which is why I always have a can of lighter fuel and/or nail polish remover handy. In this instance I reckon the lighter fuel route should work to release the adhesive.
And then kill you when you eat from them... ::)
