Title: The "new" Pastis goes down under thread, no disasters

Hotels - sorted ... prolly paying for a night when I won't be there but that's another story noooo:

Meet ups - getting sorted ... meeting a Cuz in a lovely place called, er, Yorkeys Knob eeek: redface:

Only five days to go and Cuz in Sydney tells me weather is humid, steamy, awful & sweaty. Cool apparently next week, only 23? cloud9:

Postings will be intermittent at best and prolly in the middle of the night 8). If I like it I may just stay there rubschin:

The thing is, they don't know what they're talking about ::). In the last 2 days I've been assured that 2 pin round will work and Tesco's are selling them with an Ozzie flag on the packaging.

G'day possums! Yep, it's hot, sunny, and slightly foreign. Been trekking in the mountains ... G would love! (Google the Blue Mountains) ... back in the city today; ferry over to Manley, little swim and back to town.
Tropical birds can be very noisy (and yes, I mean feathered ::) ) .... the cicadas too.

The last email I had from him said that he was pissed off with being old, being told he had to go into a home and being treated like an idiot. He also said that he could no longer see the screen to read/type and anyway "they" didn't want him to have a 'pooter any more. I am pretty sure that Kimmy will have picked up most if not all of that from his last postings over there.

Slight drama this week with flights as the initial plans involved going with Royal Brunei Airlines and having to spend a whole day kicking my heels in Brunei before the connection noooo:
Not only that but the airline, being based in a Muslim country prohibits the serving of alcohol on its flights eeek: shocked003

A polite query confirmed a mistake had been made and I'm now switched to Korean Air with no technical stop and a connection at Seoul onward to Bris. Much quicker and the bonus being that Koreans know how to drink razz:
